As an Information Security Officer and Systems Engineer, Mark is responsible for hardening infrastructure, threat management and mitigation, building companies up to compliance standards, and relaying important and developing security threats to the team. He also handles any troubleshooting needs that may arise for clients, from simple computer issues to network infrastructure management, all while providing superior customer service.

Prior to V2 Systems, Mark worked at an MSP as a level 2 Systems Engineer specializing in data backups and disaster recovery and worked as an escalation point to level 1 engineers.

Mark is passionate about technology and spends his free time doing home server projects, gaming, playing chess, and listening to music.

Mark attended Radford University and plans to further pursue his degree in cybersecurity. 

As Senior Systems Engineer, Leilani is responsible for providing Tier 3 & Tier 4 support for our clients as well as being a resource and KB for the other V2 Systems engineers.  Her favorite part of her job is when she has the opportunity to help the clients design new infrastructure to grow their business.  

Prior to V2 Systems, Leilani began her IT career in 2003 with Madwolf Technologies.  She worked briefly for Capital Finance before joining the V2 Systems family in 2006.

Leilani is passionate about serving as President for one of the PTA units in her daughter’s school district.  It’s definitely a 4^th job but well worth it to her for the joy and fun it brings.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Willamette University.

As System Engineer, Hai plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT infrastructure for his clients. This includes developing solutions that meet client needs, ensuring the reliability and performance of systems, and providing technical support. He works across various technologies such as networks, servers, cloud services, and security systems to create scalable and secure IT environments. His duties also involve continuous monitoring of systems to prevent and resolve issues proactively, optimizing system performance, and ensuring data protection and compliance with relevant regulations. 

Before V2 Systems, Hai was a System Analyst responsible for the daily operations of small businesses, including troubleshooting, installing, and testing hardware and software.

Hai is passionate about Information Technology and computers and holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science: Data & Network Security from Liberty University.

Maximo Rodriguez has his CSC in Network Administration and Cloud Computing Information Technology. He has over 8 years of experience and has been with V2 Systems for over 3 years. Maximo is committed to helping our clients resolve their technology challenges quickly and to building healthier relationships among the employees with whom he works with every day. His work focuses on managing various different aspects of the office, running review maintenance, troubleshooting client tickets, and targeting nonsecure behaviors.  He believes in a collaborative team approach and in helping clients reach their goals.

Maximo is passionate about learning and being able to serve every area in which his job allows. In addition, he is continually building on his IT skills and works closely with MSP Systems Administrator engineers experienced in cloud computing, cybersecurity, Office 365, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, Routing, VPN, Switching, Active Directory, CCNA, and VMware.

Bhawana Rijal plays a pivotal role at V2 Systems, where her expertise in managing financial operations is vital to the organization’s stability and growth. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of financial processes, Bhawana ensures accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions.

Prior to V2 Systems, Bhawana worked as an Accounting Support Specialist at Vector Security Networks which equipped her with a robust skillset and a proactive approach to addressing financial challenges, making her an invaluable asset to our team. Since joining V2 Systems, Bhawana’s dedication and proficiency have not only streamlined our financial operations but have also significantly contributed to our organization’s financial health and operational efficiency.

As Account Manager and Systems Engineer, Dallas Smith is responsible for managing client needs on a broad spectrum of technologies. It is his job to oversee the lifecycle of day-to-day technical problems as well as manage projects to enhance usability and security for our clients.

Prior to V2 Systems, Dallas started his own company “Tech Doctor” which focused on bringing a high-level of IT experience to the residential market.

Dallas is passionate about fatherhood and scouting. He has 2 aspiring scouts who push him to be better every day.

Dallas holds an AA degree in Network Systems as well as numerous industry certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft, and from industry leading hardware manufacturers.

As Vice President of Business Development for V2 Systems, Amer’s focus is to help organizations improve their IT productivity and bolster cybersecurity by outsourcing or comanaging their IT. Prior to joining V2, Amer was the Senior Technology Advisor at MainSpring where he helped grow their nonprofit and commercial MSP client base. Previous to that, he held Sales Vice President positions at several SaaS startups including at Homesnap (real estate) and ScaleUp Executives (corporate training).

Amer also spent 15 years at the Washington Post company launching both their international and technology advertising categories and developed innovative industry partnerships with leading tech companies including Google, IBM, Microsoft, Dell and Verizon. He has an economics degree from Carnegie Mellon and an MBA from Columbia. Amer also has taught business management courses as an adjunct at area universities including George Mason, Hood College and currently teaches a leadership course at University of Maryland’s Global Campus.

As Marketing Consultant for V2 Systems, Inc., Kelly Weist is responsible for making sure the people and business owners of Northern Virginia, Maryland and DC come to know how V2 Systems can help them solve their technology challenges so they can focus on their vision.

Prior to V2 Systems, Kelly was Associate Director of Marketing for Wholesale Screening Solutions, where she played a key role in the marketing strategy that helped grow and position the company prior to its sale and eventual merger with SJV Data Solutions. She was then instrumental in the brand launch of InformData, now one of the largest national background screening data providers. Previously, she worked for Penn National Gaming as Advertising Manager and prior to that she worked as an Independent Marketing Consultant for various industry brands in the fields of entertainment, healthcare and government contracting.

Kelly is passionate about giving back to the community and currently serves as a board member of HeroHomes, a local nonprofit that builds homes for disabled veterans and their families in Loudoun County, Virginia.

She is a trusted leader with over 20 years of experience that spans marketing, digital media and communications at leading organizations. Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University.

Chris Rajca is the VP of Sales for V2 Systems. He is dedicated to working with organizations to identify opportunities to improve and enhance the management and security of their IT systems. This is done by assessing and understanding their requirements and business model to make qualified and budget-friendly recommendations. For Chris, relationship building is key.

Prior to joining V2 Systems in 2012, Chris was the Director of Business Development at Capital Computers & Networks as the lead sales representative. In this capacity he provided client generation, account and marketing management, contract development as well as establishing and leading company sponsored seminars and networking events.

From 1989 to 2010, Chris worked at Freddie Mac, the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, as a Technical Analyst, Manager of Operations and Director of Operations. Though originally hired to assist in the development of Freddie Mac’s new tax system, he eventually advanced to lead the support of their financial systems using PeopleSoft Software. After several years of development and support, Chris moved into a management role for these systems as well as providing management support for an Incident/Problem Management Support Group helpdesk.

Chris Waskowich is a co-owner and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for V2 Systems, Inc. He is the certified expert in leveraging technology to deliver quality managed IT services for V2’s clients. He is dedicated to guiding his clients through the maze of matching business need to technology potential, which includes process standardizing, workflow optimization, budget forecasting, training and generally answering the all important question, “How can we use technology to do things better?”

Along with Erik Briceño, Chris was a co-founder and CTO of Ampcast.com, a leading provider of online resources servicing over 5,000 independent musical artists, and was responsible for managing and executing the entire technical infrastructure of site.

Prior to Ampcast, Chris was an Acoustic Engineer for Electric Boat Corporation from 1995 to 1999 and led the development and administration of custom software designed to track and analyze the overall acoustic performance of submarines.

Chris holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Science in Technology Management from George Mason University.

Erik Briceño is a co-owner, President & CEO of V2 Systems, Inc., one of Northern Virginia’s leading Information Technology Managed Service Providers. He is an inspiring leader for its employees and instrumental business partner for its customers. He is passionate about V2’s purpose, dedicated to exceeding expectations and a consummate professional not afraid of jumping in and getting his hands dirty.

Erik also serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Rimstorm. Rimstorm’s cloud-based Govcon Enclave™ provides government contractors, and their teaming partners, a cost-effective solution to meet CMMC requirements. As COO, Erik oversees the daily operations as well as provides support in the creation and implementation of strategic visions for Rimstorm, in collaboration with the CEO.

Prior to joining V2 Systems in 2002, Erik was a co-founder and COO of Ampcast.com, a leading provider of online resources servicing over 5,000 independent musical artists. At Ampcast.com, Erik spearheaded all aspects of corporate development, funding, strategic vision, and business development for the firm.

From 1997 to 1999 Erik held the position of Acoustic Systems Engineer for Electric Boat Corporation, a leading defense contractor. In this role, Erik was responsible for the acoustic fidelity of two noise critical systems and components in the US Navy’s nuclear submarine systems. Erik holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Masters of Business Administration from George Mason University.

When not working, you will find Erik a dedicated family man, raising two children with his lovely wife Karen. Together, they enjoy building legos, playing baseball, skiing, riding horses, swimming, traveling, and fixing up old Mopars.
