V2 SYSTEMS ACQUIRES FAIRFAX BASED ARTIFEX IT

MANASSAS PARK, VA - V2 Systems IT Professionals announced today the acquisition of Fairfax County based Artifex IT, a provider of systems integration and network management services in the Washington D.C. metro area.
The deal is a strategic decision by V2 to grow the company’s presence in the areas of construction, healthcare, professional services, and not-for-profit organizations. This is V2’s second acquisition since the firm’s founding in 1995.
“This is an excellent fit for our clients specifically because V2 has built their business on the same foundation of positive core values and strong relationships”, said AIT President, Paris Tsitos. The terms of transaction include a one-year stay for Mr. Tsitos’ during the transition.
“We are excited about the additional resources that V2 Systems brings to the table” said Don Lehr, Account Executive with Lansdowne-based ProActive Communications. “ProActive is a public affairs and media communications business that has affiliates, independent contractors, and consulting firms in all 50 states, and manages nationwide media relations tours, issues advocacy campaigns, coalition and other public affairs programs. This requires a heavy reliance on solid IT. Our new technology partnership with V2 will allow us to better serve our clients.”
