Manassas, VA - V2 Systems, a leader in technology solutions for small and mid-sized companies, announced today that their CEO, Guy Hinkler, will participate in a panel discussion aimed at helping high school and college teachers adequately prepare students for careers in technology.
“I am excited to be able to share over twenty years of ‘in-the-trenches’ experiences with IT educators”’ said Hinkler. “Education and workforce development is a difficult task in Information Technology due to frequent changes in the industry. The Dominion TechWays approach is very practical and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
The panel discussion, sponsored by Virginia Community College System’s Dominion TechWays, is part of a technology conference for educators that will be held January 26 in Charlottesville. Hinkler will offer information about how to utilize problem-based, case-based curriculum to educate students. He will also answer questions from teachers about instructing students on IT.
