V2 ENGINNEERS PREPARE WINDOWS VISTA FOR DEPLOYMENT

September 06, 2006

MANASSAS, VA - V2 Systems’ Chief Technology Officer, Chris Waskowich, announced today that formal testing has begun on Microsoft’s new Vista operating system.

“Leveraging our Microsoft partnership’s pre-release testing program has always been a benefit our clients’ productivity”, said Waskowich. “We are particularly excited about this version’s ability to manage groups and users on multiple networks. This will result in considerable cost savings for our customers.”

Other advancements include; easier mobility, increased user productivity through new search tools, and improved security that utilizes enhanced event logging and auditing tools. The modular design of Windows Vista will also simplify deployment, management, and support, reducing IT overhead.

The release to industry partners by Microsoft is a major step for the technology industry toward the final availability of Windows Vista, currently targeted for volume license customers in November 2006 and general availability in January 2007.
